The Friends of St Hugh’s Foolow are pleased to confirm the vital work to restore 12 of the Window Frames was complete in June thanks to the generous donations of our villagers and visitors.
The Friends of St Hugh's Foolow are always looking for simple, meaningful ways our community can support the work we do. One of the easiest — and most impactful — is by donating good‑quality clothes from established high street or designer retailers that you no longer need.
Instead of gathering dust in a cupboard or ending up in landfill, your pre‑loved items can help raise vital funds for our projects.
We will list donated items on Vinted, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to maintaining the fabric of our beautiful church. It’s a small act that makes a big difference.
contact us and we can arrange a collection.
Your donations turn everyday items into real impact.
Come and enjoy Foolow's beautiful Well Dressing, a unique Derbyshire tradition created by local volunteers using natural materials. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience the charm of our picturesque Peak District village.
After visiting the well, join us in the Village Hall, next to our beautiful church, for a selection of homemade cakes, locally baked treats, and refreshments, all lovingly prepared by our villagers.
